The Wed. hike on Dec. 28 was a bit overcast but very pleasant for hiking. About a dozen in the 1st group took a 4.3 mile hike & 4 in the 2nd did a 7.6 mile hike in a nice area we have explored previously.
There are so many great views along this trail of distant mountains plus Mt. Lemmon across the valley.
Yes, some of us found the lost arrow on the trail’s namesake. Plus, there were a couple of nice crested Cacti.
Both groups had a nice moderate easy pace hike to close out the 2017 hiking season. Smiling faces from the 1st group.
