Ah.., gorgeous blue sky day! Was cold but so nice after the rain the day before as we hit the trail. Also a bit windy but warmed up fast & off came the layers of clothes. We all enjoyed the different landscape and terrain from what we see in Tucson.
The object of this hike was to find the Dragonfly petroglyph. Jan was the winner, she found it! Was in a really pretty area on a the edge of a small cliff with a stream below. Of course, we all scrambled in turn to get a picture.
Lots of water crossings only add to the fun and adventure! Cottonwood tress were leafing out and so pretty.
Such a nice pretty hiking area. What a great day!
It was just a 2 hour hike, so the rest of the day was free time, then our final dinner together in town to recap our fun day.
