Sedona Last Day Chimney Rock

Thank You to our reporter Carol Simpson, who did an excellent job!

Our final hike was a short 1.8 mile hike around the base of Chimney Rock just across the street from the hotel. The morning was cool and a bit overcast but felt just right for an early morning hike through the trees with areas offering us a few scenic views of the less populated areas of Sedona.

It is always such fun to explore new trails and discovery where they lead for so many of us that love to explore the outdoors. A nice quote describes our hiking adventures: “Leave nothing but footprints. Take nothing but pictures. Kill nothing but time”.   We all sure took lots and lots of pictures! Right after finishing the hike, we all checked out of the hotel and headed down the road back to RCW. The morning hike was a nice finishing touch to hiking in such a beautiful place as Sedona.
