Our hike on February 12th was a short hike of 3.9 miles and was close to RCW. 40 hikers took to the trail!
Our hike began at the end of Irvington Pl. and we began a slow upward hike towards the 360 trail. The trail was an easy walk with wonderful views of Tucson from above!
After stopping at the crest of the 360 trail and devouring our snacks, we headed back to the Camero loop and took the west leg, past the old(more than 25 years) rusted, stripped hulk of a Chevy Camero, thus the name of the trail.
Even though we were back to the park
by 10:15am, it was a beautiful day for a stroll in the desert!
Our next hike will be to the Bowen Ranch Stone House (see upcoming hikes)
